Sonia Singh is a senior sales leader with over 15 years of account management, business development and training experience. She currently works at Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Vancouver where she is helping BC’s largest enterprise customers transition to the cloud and transform their digital businesses. Outside of this, she has helped develop BC’s female workforce by mentoring local talent into positions in finance and tech. She has also been a multi-year advisor to the Dress for Success Board who focus on enabling women to succeed in the workplace.
Sonia has worked in various sales, channel, business development and training and development roles supporting both public sector and commercial customers and business in Canada, US and Internationally. She also has a Masters in Educational Technology and several technology certifications from AWS and Cisco Systems.
As a mentor and coach, she believes in using technology as an enabler and actively encourages her customers and mentees to develop the skills and abilities necessary to stay relevant in the fast paced technology industry. She brings optimism to her work and attempts to instill a get it done attitude in others helping them gain confidence, and discover new skills and talents to propel them into their unknown potential.
In her spare time you can find her snowboarding through the local mountains of BC, hiking, reading, researching (literally anything she can) and looking for her next adventure.
