Julie Nolin has been a reporter and producer with CTV Vancouver since 2013, and communications/journalism faculty at BCIT since 2010. The Alberta-born journalist, who is Métis/Cree, began her media career in 1990. She moved to BC in 2005, and has won several journalism awards for her work as a reporter, producer, host, and documentary director.
She is passionate about diversity, inclusion, and intercultural competency, and holds a Master’s degree in Intercultural and International Communications from Royal Roads University – and is currently completing a doctorate in leadership and organizational psychology.
She is extremely proud of her two adult sons. She and her husband live on the Port Moody-Coquitlam border, with their Husky-cross.
