David has been a passionate leader in the experiential marketing world for over 25 years. He has spent the last 20 of those years establishing his agency, Inventa, as a leader in the XM field in Canada driving innovation in this sector. David has brought over 1,200 experiential campaigns to life with brands like Coca-Cola, Bell, CIBC, Nintendo, Kellogg’s, Nestlé and the BC Government, just to name a few. He was also the lead on Inventa’s Olympic programs from 2004 to 2010, putting the agency in the spotlight and bringing sponsorship activation to a new level never seen before in Canada.
David has a Business degree from Simon Fraser University and has been the recipient of Business in Vancouver’s Top 40 Under 40 award, BDC’s BC Young Entrepreneur of the Year, and a three-time finalist for Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year.
When David is not at the helm at Inventa, he also leads charitable initiatives as the Volunteer Co-Founder of KidSport Vancouver.
David is also an active father of two boys and somehow finds time to coach soccer and baseball, while skiing and cycling whenever he can.
