Panelists:

Julia Vyse
Dentsu International
Julia Vyse is the Digital Director for iProspect Canada, based in the Vancouver office. Her approach is to bring harmony to large-scale programs with multiple channels working together. She has spent her career focused on performance media for large enterprises of all kinds. Across different sectors, performance media works in different ways. Franchisee organizations with hundreds of locations require different strategies and tactics than a government entity that can’t make use of pixels for privacy reasons. But they all need to reach people to meet their business goals. The most important thing you can do to make your performance media, well, perform, is to listen to what your audience is telling you.

Briannah Fisher
Trail Appliances
Briannah Fisher is a dynamic growth marketing leader skilled in creating customer-focused programs that resonate across retail, tech, FMCG, and creative industries. As a talented photographer and designer, she closely understands the technological and artistic opportunities the new media environment offers brands. Her approach boosts bottom-line growth, strengthens brand equity, and enhances customer experiences. Currently the Senior Manager of Digital & Content at Trail Appliances, Briannah leads the company’s digital and social media presence across B2B and B2C.

Kate Thomas
MiQ
Kate Thomas has been in the media industry for 15 years and has the interesting vantage point of having worked across the spectrum – starting on the brand side, moving to agency, and most recently on the vendor side at MiQ. This gives her a holistic view of the industry and a unique perspective when it comes to working with clients. In her current role as VP Client Partnerships at MiQ, she put this experience to good use as it allows her to put herself in her clients’ shoes and work as a true partner and extension of their team, rather than just as a vendor executing campaigns.

Naomi Zhao
Eastward Media
Naomi Zhao is the VP of Eastward Media and VP of Product Development at Glacier Media Group. A seasoned media professional, she specializes in Asian consumer behavior, integrated marketing strategy, digital planning, and media buying. With 18 years of experience in the industry, Naomi has spent over a decade in leadership roles at top-tier 4A advertising agencies in Asia, including Omnicom Media Group, WPP, and Dentsu. Over the past 8 years, she has focused on helping North American brands connect with local Asian communities and navigate market entry into China. Naomi also serves as the West Coast Chair of IAB Canada.
