The Marketer of the Year is determined through a multi-stage selection and evaluation process as follows:
Stage One: Call for nominationsJanuary 25 to March 8 - Call for nominations
Stage Two: Questionnaire completed by every nomineeBy the middle of March the BCAMA will send a detailed questionnaire to each nominee to complete by April 9th. The BCAMA will then review and shortlist the nominees.
Stage Three: Short-Listed Finalists submit comprehensive submissionBy the middle of April the short listed finalists are contacted and asked to submit a comprehensive final submission. It’s the last chance to wow the judges. Final submissions are due by May 10 after which final judging will occur to determine the 2010 Marketer of the Year.
Stage Four: Marketer of the Year preparations beginBetween the months of May and September all the preparations begin to announce and coordinate this marquee event.
Stage Five: Winner announced and awarded Marketer of the YearIn early September the 2010 Marketer will be announced. The celebrations will once again be held at the Westin Bayshore. Details about the event will be made available in the summer.
